They all perform with bad geometry that you would only know by having a different brand. In your case you have a greater chance of the truck being happier at 4”
Like I said earlier our 4th gens do not like the 3” height. Your RC 4” has front Diff drops and is supposed to be corrected angles but...
It’s a great idea but like the custom offsets gallery there is too much misinformation. The majority of it is accurate however rams do fluctuate a decent amount from the factory so what works on yours may not work on another. There is a pretty solid base of excellent people that are here to help...
This forum has a preferred vendor section and the go to for suspension is @Nick@GotExhaust so with a forum member’s discount and no time looking up various kits he would put together a package deal and drop ship it right to your door with everything needed to get you set up properly. The gmc I...
It’s less expensive to do a lift lower than 2.5” with no need to replace the UCA’s so “budget friendly” is not an excuse. Replacing parts and redoing the entire front end later is even worse. It’s not a target on you. I’m literally the guy that has to be the bad guy when I hand someone a couple...
What year is your truck?
I would advise against anything RC suspension related parts. 4th gens are not fans of sitting at 3”. IT’s recommended that once you hit the 2.5” mark to jump straight to a 4” or 6” bracket lift. The CV’s will not be your issue the ride quantity from RC not providing any...
I am happy to help answer questions if you click on my name and select start a conversation I’ll send you my phone number. And the shop that did the installation is welcome to call my shop for assistance. Texting me a few pictures that I will request can sort this out.
Video does no justice but initial guess would be they tightened bolts in the air and or they skipped steps while installing. We get a lot of Rams and most seen problems are improper installations
The HD trucks have to be measured they vary far too much to pick heights.
Bed length also is a large factor into height choices. 37’s fit under stock height it’s all offset measurements to figure out what would rub
(For educational Purposes regarding this thread)
The 4th gen trucks seem to pick up the shift points faster even though the tcm will still need some miles to relearn. Side note on the 5th gens we clear the tcm and let it relearn right after the tire calibrations. They seem to need a push. Back...
Thank you. I touch the stuff every day but Nick is one of our preferred vendors that offers forum member discounts on these parts. In my opinion not enough members take advantage of how good Nick@gotexhaust is.
There are tons of threads on here proving that set up with the 13+ UCA’s popping...
Bilstein with a mevotech UCA would save a few dollars and the geometry is better. Front Diff's and CV axles arent cheap and I replace them daily. Unfortunately
I would rather be installing cool stuff on trucks than fixing what others have ruined. Guys run RC products all the time and their...
