    2021 3.6 845RE transmission fluid change

Need to hurry.... Those 20 degrees heat up fast. On the test drive there was no seat of the pants difference.

    2021 3.6 845RE transmission fluid change

105400 kms, 1500hrs, 20000kms with some sort of trailer in a hair over 2 years. Bought the pan and fluid on the first big rock auto order after buying the truck. Old pan. No drain. Messy. New pan. This will make a drain and fill in 10000kms easy. Level enough. This made filling very easy...

    Camping 2024

Yes* I have seen people get fish out of the Rogue River... I, however, have only managed to pull up empty hooks while emptying a cooler of beer.

    Camping 2024

Between Medford Oregon and crater lake. There’s many small campgrounds and dispersed camping. Also the large Prospect OHV area from July to November. That water is about 37F all year. When your up the road in Bend, Or stop in at the last Blockbuster and grab some beer!

    Camping 2024

Steel box on a 3500lb axle, 1250lbs springs, 145r12 E tires. 1450lbs wet weight, 160lbs tongue. Interior dimensions are 62”x109”, 60” high. Both rear doors open. Fits a queen bed. There’s no kitchen or facilities. Was going to finish the interior with some nice sanded plywood over the hardboard...

Rear bed size didfernce from dt to ds?

Take your bed rug to the dealer with you and see if it fits in a new truck. I’d say it will fit, but maybe not to perfection.

Do You Keep Your Cummins Exhaust Brake Set At Full?

I always had mine on full. The actuator still **** the bed at 164000kms. You think an $800 driveline fluid change is expensive? Wait until you see how much a dealer charges for a turbo actuator. They wanted $4k just for the part.

Yikes! Look What the Dealership Wants For This Easy Service

If you can’t do it yourself, you will pay someone else too much to do it for you. Redline 75w85 and 75w90 is $24/L here, so $150 to do the front and rear. MT-LV is $30/L, $60 to do the transfer case. Brake fluid will cost you a few beers to your buddy to press the brake pedal repeatedly. For...

    REACHING OUT

You can get redline 75w85 and 75w90 for your differentials at Canadian tire for $24 each. Lordco had MT-LV transfer case fluid for $30. Done those a couple times already. Wait until the stock warranty is up before doing the transmission.

Should I change my trans fluid?

Almost at 97000kms, 2 yrs. Would you get more oil out by draining it at operating temp of 81C when the internal thermostat and valves are open or would draining it in the morning at 5C yield the same or better results? I’d rather not work on piping hot equipment, but it’s not the end of the...

    Gas vs Diesel

If you’re really set on gas, check out a 5500 with 4.88s and the aisin behind the Hemi. But personally, this is diesel all the way.
