Just because it's called an impact sensor, doesn't mean it physically has to be impacted as if it was mounted in front of the radiator and in an accident.
Airbag impact sensors are accelerometers, they determine the impact force by measuring change and amplitude of movement.
That's not how you test them either haha all jokes aside it goes on the front cross member in front of the radiator but you can mount it anywhere as long as the arrow is pointing in the right direction. If it has one most that I've done do though. Hope everyone was alright.
