MDS check engine light

My cell came on and pulled a mds code. MDS stopped working. Also had loud hemi tick. I had ordered redline oil and royal purple filter a few weeks ago. Figured might as well change oil to see if it helped. Erased code and almost instantly tick got quieter and mds stared working again. Drove it about 10 miles, take it out for good run tomorrow. Hard to belive a oil could do it. We'll see after it runs awhile.

Yes, it has,almost 5 months. I'm assuming your engine
is still quiet and the CEL has not returned?
Awesome. can you say exactly which Red Line and filter
you used? Can you also say roughly how many miles/kms
since the new oil/filter?

This is going to be very important information for several
members here, we even have a thread devoted to exactly
this scenario, I'll post it if I can find it. It would be great
if you could copy/paste this info there as well.

I hope you continue to have good luck with this.

EDIT: I just realized I quoted the wrong post and the OP has
not been back since Day 2.
