I have a 2018 black express, 90k miles, had about half of those miles towing, driving on the beach or hauling crap in the bed. I don’t feel great about changing it myself with how crazy a process it is, any ideas how much a shop would charge to do it? Or should I just ride it out and hope it...
I have big cracks in my windshield from some rock chips, no shot i’ll pass inspection. Safelite quoted me 900 for oem glass to be put in and 450 for aftermarket. Leaning aftermarket as I doubt the OEM is double the quality of the aftermarket, but if anyone could weigh in on the quality of these...
So recently I put sport grille inserts in my express grille to give her a little bit of bling, and I must say it looks nice. The wheels however are starting to look a little plain, has anyone here put chrome laramie wheels on a black express? If so any pictures would be appreciated because I...
Is there any chance i could have fun at Rausch creek PA in a bone stock truck? I have 34 inch ridge grapplers but no level no lift stock everything, not trying to get stuck too bad. I heard they have full size trails so i was interested in going this summer
This may sound ridiculous, but when the weather gets nice i like to drive on the beach, so i have an idea that i take my doors off my ram for a beach day. Is this possible to do despite the autopark safety feature if the doors are open?
33k miles, still under warranty for a few months. Cant hear it at idle now that its warmed up, that video was right after i started it up cold after sitting overnight, then i heard that odd clicking/ticking. Anyone heard anything similar before?
Just changed my oil, about 50 miles shy of 30k. Im hearing a faint low rhythmic knock sound, as well as an intermittent squeal. I dont have my engine cover on so ik everything is going to sound a bit louder, just wondering if yall think this is cause for concern
My stock goodyears are getting very low on tread, i should be replacing them by the end of the year, preferably before the snow starts coming down. I was thinking about bfg k02’s, does anyone know how big i could go with these on my truck with stock ride height? Or should i just go with the same...
2018 Ram 1500, 5.7 hemi qc. 20,xxx miles.
Serpentine belt seems to be showing an odd wavy pattern, as well as some unusual wear. Im no expert, but I don’t think a serpentine belt should look like that. Not to mention i have an intermittent squeak at idle

finally seeing this issue in the spotlight is refreshing in my opinion.
Ive been thinking about taking some pipe and perhaps a nice flowmaster and routing out the side of my truck in front of the rear wheel, does anyone have any knowledge of the best way to do this?
just for reference, truck has the 5.7 hemi with the single exhaust, not the duals
Hopped in my truck, and the screen wouldnt turn on. I have the small uconnect screen that comes with the express model. I had to turn the truck off and on multiple times and wait like 5 minutes for it to come back. Just very annoying. How hard would it be to put the factory non-touch screen head...
On one of my occasional browses through craigslist, i found somebody selling an 03 2500 with the Hemi for 6 grand. Truck looks very clean, im debating if its worth it to actually take a look at the thing.
Saw this ad on craigslist for an 03 2500 with the Hemi, guy says it has 190k, oil changes every 3k, looks like an honest truck, but im not sure how well they hold up. coming from a 4th gen owner I know that those hold up, how about early 3rd gens?
Long story short, I have to find a trailer brake controller that I can put on my Ram 1500 in a couple of days. Any options? The install will need to be quick, I prefer not to be splicing wires, are there any plug and play options? And to what exactly would I plug into? I dont have trailer brake...
Going through this forum I hear about this issue a lot, and it definitely troubles me. Ive heard some rumblings about them fixing the issue in 16 with better quality lifters, is this accurate?
What sort of issues with warranty can I expect if I remove the factory pcm and put on one I can tune myself? Also are there any preferred brands out there that I should be using? I haven't looked into it too much but I just don't like the idea of the only people able to work on my truck being...
Ok so i was rooting around underneath my ram and there is this weird electronic wiring piece and a metal capusule looking thing next to it under the drivers door on the frame. Does anyone know what this is?
