Lost power steering on my 2013 Ram 1500. Dealer (Red River Ram, Heber Springs, AR) refuses to help.
Should they =/= Can they Also, "should" is subjective. I agree they should, but then again I know to never trust a dealership for anything, especially is todays ***** auto market. A trusted private mechanic should always be your go-to for any vehicle that is out of warranty.- rzr6-4

Radiator tested good for coolant flow, but are you sure on air flow? Smashed fins, packed with dirt/bugs? God knows mine has seen better days. I saw a heat gun was suggested, that could be quite helpful to determine what thermal transfers are/aren't happening.- rzr6-4

Payload & towing capacity are both heavily influenced by what options are on the truck. 2 or 4wd, regular or extended cab, wheel size, axle ratio, etc. You need to make sure you are doing an apples to apples comparison as the different options can cut payload in half. Fuel Warning Light - How many Gallons remain when comes on?
I have a 33gal tank and I have put 31gal in more than once and have yet to have the light come on. 2gal in reserve with my current ~12~ mpg is not much of a buffer. Not something I would mess around with if possible.- rzr6-4

Rim/wheel size change.
Old tire (275/50R20) diameter = 30.8" New tire (285/50R22) diameter = 33.2" 60mph on your speedo will actually be 64.7mph. You would either need to have your speedo corrected or get used to accounting for it manually. Otherwise mechanically they will bolt right up.- rzr6-4

Rear Axle Maintenance
Interesting, mine is 09 2500 and they say 75-90 for light duty or 75-140 for HD application. Looks like they changed it to 75-90 for everyone. Wonder why. -

Alternative tire storage
As many different options as there are that mount to the floor of the bed, I would think you could find one that would be able to sit on top of your deck fairly easy, just have to put a couple holes in the top of it but they can still be sealed. The left-to-right spacing is determined by the track bar, but it changes dynamically with your ride height. Sticker isn't clear as in you don't understand what it means? Tow rating will vary a lot based on what options your truck had equipped from factory, people can give you a rough estimate but the sticker in the door will be the only way to know for sure. Performance brakes tend to be more noisy, not as smooth and wear quicker. If performance is the goal then you will have to keep those things in mind. If you don't care about that, then just do OEM or equivalent (most things you can find aftermarket cheaper than OEM but with similar performance)...- rzr6-4
