    HID issue

Hey guys, it's been a while since I've posted here! My HID ballast went on me a week ago. The company I ordered from is no longer selling retail. They can get me a new ballast for $70, but it has no warranty. I decided to go cheap and order some $30 amazon 55w ballasts. I installed it today...

    Steps

I've got the AMP steps and love them! Totally worth the money. Much wider than other steps out there, grippy, they go lower, and look amazing. I wish Ram would pull a truck from Ford's book and make them an OEM option. Sent from my SM-G950W using Tapatalk

3.0 Eco diesel Yay or Nay?

I love mine! Amazing fuel mileage, tows great, sounds good, and actually moves decent for a small diesel! That being said I don't like the payload, mine is 950 lbs. Yes under 1000 lbs. Pathetic.) I also wish it was rated to tow a bit more. If I were to buy a new truck tomorrow it would be a...

    A Ram originally from Canada

There is a 30% financial incentive. Yes, you can buy a Canadian Ram for 30% less than you can buy a US Ram because of the exchange. You just need to buy it in Canada, instead of from a dealer in the US. Other wise that dealer is making the 30%. Why do you think so many Canadian trucks are...

    Disaster!!

What other issues are going to arise though? In the long run a new truck with a full warranty could save money. Sent from my SM-G950W using Tapatalk

    Disaster!!

Jeez that sucks man. If the engine is toast I'd fix it as cheap as possible and get rid of the truck. That's just me though. Sent from my SM-G950W using Tapatalk

    Wanting to level with Bilsteins

If you don't go too high with the bils you might be p Okay. Lots of guys on here over the past few years haven't replaced the UCA's and they've been fine. With spacers you will want them though. Price wise that shop is out to lunch. Look up Mevotech UCAs. Much more durable than stock, and...

    free level w/ air shocks?

I don't know why it was squatting. I didn't move sensors from front to back Sent from my SM-G950W using Tapatalk

    free level w/ air shocks?

I think I had it set .5" lower in the front than the back. They're fully adjustable though. I'd sell them for $40 plus shipping Sent from my SM-G950W using Tapatalk

    AMP research steps wireing

If you haven't already wired it, why don't you buy the plug and play? I didnt on my 2016, makes it so much easier! Sent from my SM-G950W using Tapatalk

Are airbags needed to tow with 6" lift???

It was about 950 lbs or so. I've got better pictures somewhere comparing no airbags, to the 1000 with the RV, but I can't seem to find them. I did find these though. With the tractor I'm guessing it's around 1000-1200 lbs of hitch weight. With just the empty dump trailer it's about 400 lbs...

Wheel spacers; go flush or wide?

I had stock flares on my 2014. With 35's and 1.5" spacers, the tires still stuck out an inch or more past the flares. It looked awesome. My gravel road in the spring hated it though! Lol Sent from my SM-G950W using Tapatalk

Anyone have opinion on Powered up/down running boards

I've got AMP steps and love them! My next truck will get them too! The passengers side did freeze up on me once this winter. That's because I didn't wash it much, and it was only me getting in the truck, so the passengers side didn't open much. They're definitely worth it. I love the no step...

    free level w/ air shocks?

I did this to mine. I snapped 2 sensors on my truck (f*** me right?) Parts were $60 CAD plus the $116 per sensor. I ended up putting it back to stock after it was squatting with trailers on. If someone wants the links I made, I'll sell them to you. They're just sitting in my tool chest...

Are airbags needed to tow with 6" lift???

Personally if I were putting airbags in I'd go with something more heavy duty than the 1000's. I had them in my 2014 with a 5" lift. I had 1" of rake, but it still squatted. Here's a pic with my Rv on the back Sent from my SM-G950W using Tapatalk

    Question for Eco Rams...

    Air suspension leveling links problem

I messed around with it for an hour or so, finally got it within a 1/4 I think. When I hooked a trailer on it was squatting though. Went to pull the links off and switch then with stock links, and it snapped the sensor. This was the second sensor I snapped. I threw they away and have been...

Should I buy this 2015 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel?

I second everything that Crash68 has said. I do a fair bit of towing, and my last truck was a 2014 Hemi. I'd pick the Ecodiesel evey time over the Hemi. Sent from my SM-G950W using Tapatalk

Anyone spray paint a Ram Limited front grille?

I don't have any pics, but I've seen it done a few times. It looks great! I think most times it's vinyl wrapped though. Cheaper than paint, and reversible Sent from my SM-G950W using Tapatalk

How does the eco diesel make you feel?

I love my ecodiesel! It gets amazing fuel mileage, it's fun to drive, and had tons of torque for pulling trailers. Oil changes cost me the same as they did with my Hemi, but the ED requires less frequent oil changes. Sent from my SM-G950W using Tapatalk

What looks better crew or quad cab

My preference is crew cab! I had a Quad cab for my first truck, the extra box length was nice, but I like to have extra room in the cab! Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
