I wish diesel weren't so expensive, but I don't let the price of fuel limit my camping trips. We have been on several trips this year with many more already planned/booked. I love spending time with my family, and we are making memories with our kids that they will hopefully treasure forever.
Yeah, like I said, I don't have much faith that they are doing anything to actually troubleshoot/fix the problem. They just don't make techs like they used to.
It looks like they are starting to throw parts at mine. I spoke with the SA today and asked for an update. He told me that the tech is going to replace the DPF today and send me on my way. I don't have much confidence that replacing the DPF will fix the problem.
Ugh. I just dropped my 22 off this morning for the 3rd time for frequent regens - sometimes it does not even make it 100 miles between regens, even with almost all highway driving. The only time that it does not do an auto regen is when I am towing.
I have done 2 UOAs, which both showed...
I can't tell you how many times I have been on my motorcycle and gotten eye contact from a car driver, and then they pulled right out in front of me. I swear they just don't see us, even when making eye contact.
I know it isn't the same thing, but if you have the Ram app, you can view the owner's manual from the app. I can see the pros and cons of both (print and digital). I have a 22, so I do have a printed copy.

You can also buy the filters in kits. Here is a link for both fuel filters...
Apparently not. Cummins has said the charge "is significant but is not expected to impact normal business operations." They apparently have some very deep pockets.
This. go to the website and once you have selected your year/model of truck, there is a dropdown that lets you select the correct Bakflip for your particular truck
This seems to be a legit procedure. I had to call into Ram support before because of an issue with the internet in my truck not working correctly, and the tech I was on the phone with had me do this, and it actually fixed my issue.
Yeah, I don't plan on doing much, if any boondocking, so this battery, along with the solar panel that helps charge it works fine for my needs. I don't really want (or need) to throw a bunch of money at Lion batteries.
I went out to my RV to winterize it this past weekend, and took a look at the battery. It is 88 AH/160 RC/750 CCA. Just a marine deep cycle Interstate battery. Works for me. So far, at least...
