Dodge D100 Sway Bar Link - impossible to find

Hey, I found a solution to my problem. I purchased a full replacement from SD Truck springs for my front anti sway bar. The "end links" were re-designed. all the apprpriate hardware was included from Addco (#134). The parts cost $250 with $250 labor and the truck passed inspection! Two holes...

Dodge D100 Sway Bar Link - impossible to find

The shop where I took my truck is willing to install the Addco part #134 sway bar and bushing replacement kit including modified end links. They refused by pass the truck if I simply remove the front sway bar. If they install it, they should pass it. Will keep you posted.

Dodge D100 Sway Bar Link - impossible to find

I wish I could do all that. I totally understand what ou are saying. The part is not complicated. Nothing like have skill and the right tools. I lack both. Maybe there is a business opportunity here! End links for Gen 1 Dodge truck swaybars. I have checked out every person's response. Now I...

Dodge D100 Sway Bar Link - impossible to find

My pics included plenty of dirt and rust but they sure look like what are on my truck. :) Mine is a "preservation", not a "restoration"

Dodge D100 Sway Bar Link - impossible to find

Thank you all. Yes, I'm going to all the inspector and ask him if he'll still pass the truck without the anti sway bar. I believe that one of the reasons the links are not availbe anymore is because they are not needed. The rebulid kit appears to represent a new way of accomplishing the...

Dodge D100 Sway Bar Link - impossible to find

I see. The link where the bolt at the bottom is attached, is sheared off and the upper bushing is gone. You may have seen that in the photo I sent. The link easily separates from the swaybar. It appears that the "rod" part of the link is fixed to the round "collar" that circles the strut...

Dodge D100 Sway Bar Link - impossible to find

Just saw your post now 1970pelle. Thanks very much for helping me. I'd love to able to do this myself and bring it back to the inspector. These parts don't seem to difficult to replace. I'll search around some more based on what you have shared. Again, I really appreciate it. I think the...

Dodge D100 Sway Bar Link - impossible to find

For anyone interested here is the PDF that includes a diagram of the way the front anti sway bar replacement/rebuild kit works from ADDCO. Moog's looks similar if I can count on the pics I see online. Notice the attachment points on each end eliminate the original link...(unless I'm missing...

Dodge D100 Sway Bar Link - impossible to find

I want to thank all of you for responding. I have attached two pictures of the link. It is broken at the bottom so it's not connected to the sway bar. If I remove the sway bar I'll have to take it to a different inspector. That's not much of a problem but I have a long-term relationship with...

Dodge D100 Sway Bar Link - impossible to find

I need a replacement sway bar link (passenger side) and I can't find one anywhere. I don't need a rebuild kit, I need the actual link since mine is bent and the truck won't pass inspection. Any suggestions re: where I can find one?
