Little update, spoke to Ram dealer they said I could turn my mirror upside down so the sensor is higher up that’s the usual fix. They won’t do it for me. I tried rotating it myself there’s not enough clearance plus it’s probably twisting the wires.
Anyone else have suggestion?
2022 Ram. Is there a way to disable the U connect system from asking me to set up apple car play every time I plug my phone into usb.
Thanks in advance
Sup guys,
What creative way should I seal this crazy gap. Beyond the plastic it looks like it’s about 3/4” gap on both sides at the top and 1/2” the rest of the way down.
See some different weather stripping kits But I’m more worried about the top for rain. Just slapped a cheap tonneau cover...
Meant to post this yesterday. My coworkers 2020 oem receiver. So From 2019 to 2022 that’s the 5th different style Ive seen. Then ours I’ve seen several with different spacing etc.
If you can’t fit the S hook on how the hell are you gonna fit a shackle on…. If you did have a 3rd party shackle on and it fails and something serious happens who’s getting blamed for improperly securing the trailer… Then on top of it you would be extending the length of the chains that could...
I got a co worker with a 21’ Limited same as mine +/- a few options his receiver is totally different than mine. It’s oem for a fact. These receivers must be coming from multiple factories. Just browsing pics online found another one just like mine but the hole for the pin is like a inch and a...
If I can get something like that to fit through the rear opening, eliminating the front opening all together, we may be on to something. This or some type of Clevis.
Which ever engineer designed this is a absolute moron. I have all Bolt locks, we tried 3 of my cousins as well today. All the locks block connection of the s hooks. Idk what to do… brand new truck and might have to replace the receiver with a Curt or Draw Tite. Had no idea I’d run into this...
The point as I understood it, at normal height when you are running the correct rise/drop on your hitch to keep your trailer level, and the vehicle goes into aero and lowers another 0.6-1.x” your trailer is no longer level. So when I had the GC, I couldn’t turn aero off so instead of doing a 4”...
I did not know I could disable it, found the setting. Thanks! So your better fuel economy was that while towing?
So running at ‘normal’ it will still auto level the rear end with a load on it?
Thanks for reply! So would it be safe to go by hitch measurement based off “normal” ride height?
Just wanna know what to expect when I hook boat up. Prob don’t even need to use tow mode, towed fine on the GC.
