383 Mopar? If so, that'd be pretty cool but as I imagine it is carborated it would be a little difficult trying to get everything to work properly.
If you plan on using it alot, I would just throw a 318 at her, a very easy and straightfoward swap.
Any check engine light on?
When you turn the key to accessory, do you hear the fuel pump pumping?
Is your exhaust system blocked in some way?
I really am stumped by this seeing as you have replaced so much stuff.
Is your throttle body adjusted properly? I'm pretty sure there is a screw that can...
When installing the new engine:
Put a bell housing bolt thru a chain and bolt it in the rear of the engine. Loop the chain thru the cherry picker and down to the A/C compressor bolt so you have the engine hanging by the two bolts and the chain is in an upside down "V" shape. Adjust the chain so...
Just do this, autolites will suffice as long as you live in a southern/warm state. Maybe something more quality if you live in the north
Edit: saw the pile of snow on your truck. Maybe look at something else. I ran with accel copper plugs and never had any issues, but it never was below 30F this...
dodge dude had a good suggestion, but if you do decide to get pads check out hawk performance brake pads.
Bleed the lines, change the fluid, look into rotors as well. Drums aren't all that bad and since your braking is done up front, give them the most attention.
I've never noticed it on a specific road either. But it was super annoying and I usually left OD off but if I wanted to punch the throttle I had to turn OD on. Really weird and kind of interesting that other people had the same problem. Mine used to shake the whole truck and it was from speeds...
Sounds a little like what my truck used to do. Does it do it in overdrive? If accelerating from 0-60+ steadily does it buck in between the range you mentioned?
If it only does it in overdrive, it could be your overdrive gear. I am assuming it'll either be that or a specific gear that is...
I ended up getting a 94 Accord with a F2B swapped engine and 5 speed. Pretty zippy car, it's alot of fun and a whole different world than trucks. I didn't spend all the money from the sale of the truck on my new car so I'll be saving it for my future truck for sure
Sold my truck since I need a car now to drive to work 70+ miles a day. I love second gens still but I don't regret selling it, I get 4x the gas milage now. One day I'll surely buy another, hopefully a 4 door conversion. I still browse these forums though and will continue to do so, this is...
New in box, sold the truck and never got to install them.
Revolution brand with a generic complete install kit included in sale
The shaft of the pinion gear has a tiny rust dots that have formed from storage, hopefully the pictures show it well enough. Obviously this isn't a big deal but I...
There should be no differences, possibly EGR however? Someone like dapepper could probably answer that.
A good port and polish job would be great if you have the time and since you got them for free. Check out this thread on modding the intake
You can polish the intake runners for better...
I have like 5 spare o2 sensors. I don't have a problem just giving them to you if you pay shipping. Let me get some pictures
Edit: wait do you want the o2 sensors or the wiring that the o2 sensors plug into
I would just buy a wiring kit off ebay. Hell even get a couple of puller fans off ebay as well.
You can get anything from the cheaper Chinese dinky fans to flex-a-lite name brand type stuff.
Depends how much you want to spend. Look on eBay or Amazon for a complete kit
Hayden makes some good...
Any codes showing up?
Could be:
bad O2
throttle position sensor
crank sensor
Does it rev up when you press the gas pedal?
Do you feel anything? Could be bad fueling.
Need some more info or a video
Have you tried going in and talking with the owner/person in charge? Just tell them how much your word means, and that you won't hesitate to make public what they did with not covering the additional labor. I had to do that with a shop here when they wanted $900 for a water pump install and...
