I did a smoke test for a suspected vacuum leak. I hooked up the tester to the vacuum line going into the brake booster.
Now my silly question.
A lot of smoke came out of the vacuum pump. Is that normal?
In my mind it's normal since the pump should suck the vacuum and since I pushed smoke the reversed way it would smoke. But I am also no mechanic, so I just want to check and make sure I am not seeing this wrong.
