Wtf are you talking about? Almost everyone runs synthetic on this site and no one complains about leaking or burning oil.Im guessing its for your 2001??
If so I would recommend NOT using synthetic. The seals in those engines dont like synthetic causing them to leak badly. Ive always used Rotella or valvoline blue in the other trucks.

Ok, I misread your post, I thought it said 2011. This being the 4th Gen forum I was assuming that's what you were saying. It is weird the 2nd Gens didn't like it, I ran synthetic in my 90's vehicles without problem.Well I'm glad its been working for them. I was just giving my opinion from experience.
I run synthetic in my 3rd gen I have now but past 2nd gens didn't like it.
