On September 11, 2015, I purchased a 2004 Quad Cab.

So far I've replace the following parts because they were broken - the overhead console, cup holder, antenna, and rear view mirror.

I also, installed a new tri-folding cover for dry storage.

Here are some photos of the truck:

My plan is to make some money moving small loads for people and to take my g/f and her son where ever we want to go in comfort.

The truck only had just over 80k on the clock and the only issue so far has been replacing the O2 sensors under warranty.

No install of 5th wheel. If I was going to do something like that I would have gotten a 3500 which can handle pulling a whole lot.

Also, no lift on this one. Setting up to be more of a simple work/ rec truck than anything else. :)

Nice truck, 2 or 4wd?

4wd. Where I live you need it.

Only thing I have to locate is the fuse for the window and door switches. It's not marked on the fuse cover and I can only open and close the windows with the driver's door and window switches.

Common issue with the Ram. If you are only able to control the windows with the driver side switch, try removing it, cleaning the contacts and using some dielectric grease when you reassemble. If that doesn't work, then you might just have to replace the driver side switch assembly.

I did a search on this forum and found that out. I ordered a new switch figured the one in there is 11 years old might as well just go ahead and replace it. :)

I have the same issue with my '03. I can only operate the windows from the drivers side controls. None of the other switches work. When I first got the truck the problem was intermittent, worked here and there. Well now it doesn't work at all except from the driver controls. So I'm thinking it's the same problem, (Master Switch Assembly). Guess I'll have to replace mine too.

From what I found out it's a common problem and with the age of our trucks it's a good bet that the drivers side switches are worn and need to be replaced.

Otherwise the truck is one fine ride. :waytogo:

Yeah, for an '03 mine's a fine ride too, I can't complain. And I also like the sound of mine with the custom dual exhaust. Not a true dual but it sounds nice..!!

Just waiting for some good weather so I can address this minor problem and finish prepping this truck to make some money.

As far as the other reason I purchased it I couldn't be happier. :party36:

Matt I still have the 4th Gen.

Thank goodness I do, because this truck has tossed yet another code at me. I'm thinking those ding dongs at the place I purchased it f*d up in the O2 sensor install. :wtf:
