So, the original info still holds up and the software file seems to conflict with NavRepair?? STRANGE?

Anyone with $$ willing to try a 2016 VP4-NA 68249986 series radio?

The matching bezel with the matching radio should make ZERO difference to why it's working but I am just posting all the info for those smarter then me to figure it out.

While I never had another years RA4, my Bluetooth works great, phone/Siri hands free works. Traffic and live weather reports when a warning comes up, high wind was one and freeze warning was another. I did change the color several times I guess because I could but settled on blue as it matches the light rings around the AC controls. The red matches gauges in cluster as well but settled on blue. Lastly I assume because I set my home on the NAV screen when I start up the truck when not home my iPhone tells me how long to get home and traffic. I am switching to the S7 so not sure if it will work there but trying to point out everything I can think of to give as much info as possible for those curious.

oguttier66 - Got the 2016 RA4/Vp4-NA PN: 68258671AA (Fw: 15.03.6 ) working in his 2016 truck.
Rechecked his conversion harness and found a bad power wire to HVAC module.

The p/n for the unit was 68258671AA and the hvac module used was 68105017ae. Blower motor resistor 68048901aa, modified mopar harness 68048906aa, and a harness connection extended 4 speed harness

Well that's odd, I have a 2013 radio in a 2015 and I have both temp and compass on the radio display. I even had my radio updated with NAVREPAIR.

What is your radio pn?

Unfortunately, the info from so many sources is only correct until proven otherwise. I will point out that the 2013 & 2014 radios use the same fw.

So I got my hands on a 8.4" VP4 CN, Chinese Version. I was able to unlock it and plug it in, however it does not seem to have XM radio and no US maps loaded. I wonder if I can flash the US firmware/maps to this and get it working.
