Currently lifted with stock rear blocks and front spacers. Looking to decrease tire size and reverse level.

I'm very new to the lowering world.

Reverse level is taking out the blocks and spacers right?
Can you fit 33s with a reverse level?

Pictures of an ext cab with both reverse level and small drop would be great.

I am unsure what you mean by a reverse level.

I think you mean instead of putting in the 2 or 3 inch level on top of the front coils, you put the 2 inch drop shackle in back on the leaf springs or flip the hanger.

Here are pics of mine with the drop shackle only

here it is with a 2/4 drop

edit: I see you have a 4x4 you cannot lower those this much.

my current tires on 265/70/r17 which is about a 32.5" tire you can definitely still fit 33s

And now I reach the dilemma - I don't have the time to offroad anymore and just want to go back to stock-ish.

But I could sell the truck for a decent ammount with the nice offroad features it has like tires, shocks, bumpers, 4x4.

Can you at least get drop shackles for the rear and be okay with the front diff not hitting?

you can definitely put the drop shackles on, be sure to remove your front coil spacers though or you'll have a bro-dozer.

In theory you could even cut your front coils to drop it more, but personally imho do not do that to that beautiful 4x4.

Why not remove the coil spacers, and the factory block from the back? That'll put it nearly the height of a stock 4x2.

Can you literally just pull the rear blocks ? I'm very unfamiliar with the rear suspension. Pictures would be good.

Probably need new u-bolts, but the springs should be the same as 4x2 springs if I am remembering correctly.

you are correct on the leaf springs being the same on a 4x4 or 2wd. they are both 2.5 inch width.

Edit; for the 1500 series trucks 2500 and 3500 except for a few early years have 3 inch wide leafs

94-6 you see the 2500LD AND HD. LD had 2.5 inch wide leaf springs, I believe they added another leaf or two, HD was 3 inch wide.

When u had just a drop shackle to level it out. 4wd have a stock lift block take that out and get you some drop shackles and you be all set 7bff16c9106f418a11a05523c39a3433.jpg
