What other mods, tune?

Hows the trans holding up?

Trans is stock and holding great I have a mild tune from tune time performance but I think the tune is actually from Mike at L&M performance. Corsa catback exhaust. Stock headers. Stock wheels and tires.

You are just a tq converter and drag radials away from a very low 12 second pass.

BigSloth- 8.267 @85.86MPH. Drag radials, 150 shot, hemifever tune, mufflex delete, no air filter, no tailgate, no spare.

Yes this is a true 1/8 mile, this is not my home track, which is short.

Finally got to the track (i'm on the right).... 2014 R/T with 8 speed

It's basically stock; when I bought the truck it had a K&N intake and Flowmaster exhaust but I know it's not tuned for it so I don't really count it...lol

Very Nice! You don't need a tune for intake and exhaust...lol

I am hoping my truck will run about the same.

No you don't need a tune but you also don't get any gains from either of those parts without a tune either lol

I disagree!

We ran my truck and my uncle's truck against each from a 15 roll up to 100 MPH.

We then went back to my house and installed his Vararam Air Grabber and went back to same spot and repeated the earlier run.

My truck is a '14 QC 4WD Express with 93 HF tune, 87 PTB, Vararam Air Grabber, BT catch can 22" Magnaflow muffler.

His truck is a '14 RCSB 4WD Express. The only mod on his truck at the time was a BT catch can.

Both trucks had a full tank of gas.

The first run my truck out ran his truck by 1 1/2 truck lengths. After installing the Vararam Air Grabber on his truck I outran him by 1/2 a truck length. When we let out at 100 MPH his front bumper was at the front of my bed (back of my rear doors).

This tells me that without a tune the Vararam improved the performance on his truck by 1 truck length from 15 MPH to 100 MPH.

Since that run we were able to get his HF 89 octane tune on his truck. We ran the trucks again in the same location from 15 to 100 with the only change being the tune. Both trucks had full tanks of gas again. This time he outran me by 1 1/4 truck lengths. When we let off my front bumper was about 5 feet behind his rear bumper.

We have loaded his HF 93 octane tune but haven't had a chance to run the trucks again due to the weather being bad the last couple of weekends.

Went again tonight, I Average 9.3 On a 1/8 mile track Irwindale dragstrip in California
Best was 9.25 @76 mph. Completely stock 2O15 rcsb 8 speed express

You're welcome to update it, I got sick of doing because people would not put it into the established format or it was a guessing game of what there truck was(2dr or 4dr, 2wd or 4we, etc.).
