I was playing with the truck a little this morning, trying to figure out exactly what to order so that I could get a little better ride in the rear of the truck.
What I found was that at 8" of drop in the rear, my McGaughy's helper bags which are designed for a 6" drop are nearly bottomed out at low pressures, so there's really no suspension travel. The inner insert hits and stops the movement.
So I'm shopping again and may have to make a few phone calls on Tuesday to see if there are a set of bags with the same configuration, but 2 or 3" shorter in collapsed height.
