Thanks again guys, all this input is really helpful. Waiting to get the final numbers back from the dealership. I think I'll cash out a bit on my trade and do the lift after the fact since it's cheaper. I can then park the truck in my garage stock to see what kind of room is left. I'm now hopeful that either the 4" or the 6" will be ok. I'll sure miss my 11 second Jeep though. Now hopefully I won't have any warranty issues down the road. But from what I've read on your forum and other places the dealer has to prove that the lift caused the part to fail. Could be a PITA later on but at least the warranty won't automatically be "voided".

I've got a 13 5.7 with 3.92 and 8 spd and average 13.5 city but it drops to 10.5-11 on the highway at 80. Not sure how anybody is getting 16+ with a hemi and a lift but good on you if you are.

What size lift and tires do you have?

Well, I just committed to the truck. Picking it up tomorrow evening. I will then have to make a decision on the lift and tires in the next few days/weeks.

I have a 6" lift and 35's. I didn't buy a truck for the mileage so it doesn't bother me.

I hear you. I don't think anybody buys a truck and expects Prius fuel economy out of it especially after modding it. But a guy sure doesn't want it to be horrid either. Everybody's responses are in line with what I was expecting. I hope for mid-teens.

I run 35s on my truck leveled, 3.55 gears, and I see about 12.5 average mixed driving. I would hope 3.92s would be better for you.

I have a 4 inch zonelift suspension lift. 35 inch DC Fun Country tires, 8 speed and 3.92. On the interstate at 80 MPH I am averaging 14.5 MPG according to the computer. I have not manually checked it. Truck has 19500 miles on it. I recently added a Flowmaster outlaw muffler, and an AFE CAI. I have not been able to trip it with those 2 items on it yet.

Hey Guys....

About to pull the trigger on a 2016 Ram 1500 crew with the 5.7 and 3.92 gears. I am looking at having it lifted 6" with 35s on it right from the dealer. Any idea what the MPGs would be with this set up with the 8 speed? I know ..... I'm not buying the truck for fuel economy. I currently have a Procharged Jeep SRT so I'm used to great fuel economy. :) Anyway, just curious what I might be getting into with this set up?

If you're in the market with a lift, 35's, you'll get maybe 12mpg.
