Slight clicking noise around 1-5 mph, squeak with wheel spin from 5-10mpg, and a faint vibration noise at higher speeds (almost sounds like using brakes with no pads).

both? lol

one good thing about changing the CV, you're already there to change the bearing.

Getting mixed answers.. didn't really pay attention when I had it apart a year ago..

Are these the sealed hubs or can you just replace the bearings?

Done with this ifs stuff.

the hubs are sealed. clicking noise i would probably suspect a cv joint. check the wheel bearings for play to be sure, its easy enough to do.

Actually, after getting the truck in the air... the problem is in my right rear.

The wheel wobble under acceleration, including the rotor. The wheel was removed and put on a balancer, it's not bent. I don't have any vibrations or noises from braking so I guess that would cancel out the rotor..

My guess is a bent axle??!

did you at least check the rotor? Id think that a bent axle would cause a little bit more vibration then a slightly warped rotor

my front bearings made a clicking noise when I spun the wheel in the air.

Its definitely not the wheel or the rotor.

And the bearing is definitely shot...but it's just so hard for me to wrap my head around it being a bent axle. How in the fk would the axle bend? I haven't jumped or hit anything.

Question: before I tear into it.. could a bad bearing cause the axle to move like that?

Dealership will warranty the axle, but not the bearing. I already have the new bearing, just want a second opinion.. plus I'm trying to avoid rental car charges for a week+.

Looks like an excessive amount of play to be just the bearing. but I also don't think it's a bent axle....hmmm

I was going to swap the axles around and see if the problem follows it.. of course the chrysler axles would be side specific by about 3/4" .

Bearing seemed fine, only thing left would be the axle. Dropping it off monday.
