What year, engjne, gears, mods??? Generally, if it is a travel trailer or fifth wheel camper you can expect 7-10 mpg if it is a flat bed car hauler type then you can see a little better.

Will depend on type of trailer and speed.

The numbers depend on what other have mentioned; model, 4x4 or 2wd, gas or diesel, gearing, etc.

My 2014 ram 3500 cab and chassis 4x4 6.7 liter flat bed gets around 15.9- 17 mpg empty on the hwy (depending on how fast I am going) around town empty is 12 or so. I bought the truck to pull my lq horse trailer that's about 17,000 lbs loaded and it gets 7-8 mpg but I did not buy it for the best mileage and I am happy to get that with all the power it has with the trailer. I wouldn't give up the power or exhaust breaking for anything!
