I'm putting together a remanufactured engine, putting it in an 03 ram 1500 4x4 4.7. My existing fuel rail was severely rusty. Found an ram & a grand Cherokee in local boneyard & the Cherokee had the better rail, so I took that. I noticed one of my injectors was cracked, so I grabbed an injector from the Cherokee. Looks identical.
2 sets of #'s on mine are 53032145AA & 2262Y01770
2 sets of #'s off Cherokee are 53032145AA & 2149W12514
Same plug runs them, but now I'm scratching my head & asking if its ok to use the 2nd injector. Anyone with knowledge please help
Here's a pic, both have 2 little holes in nozzle
