possible wiring issue

I was wondering anybody else has had this problem my lights on my speedometer only light up about half of it and when this occurs my fog lights do not work but when the spedometer is only Illuminating 90 through 120 mph the fog lights don't work at all any help is appreciated

You probably have a couple burned out bulbs or bulbs that are not making a good connection. Your headlight switch may be bad.

I have a seperate button for my dog lamps they arebt controlled but my headlight switch. do they intertwine with each other?

No, the 97 is different than the 01. Your switch should have 5 wires on the back, when the switch is selected on, check for continuity between pins 1 and 2. I'd also check the fog lamp relays, the wiring diagram I have for the 97 says there should be two relays for it. I'm not sure where.
