There cut just a tad. All I switched was spindals. I think it has something to do with all that extra weight of the mcgaughys, because my truck seemed to have a lot of bump steer an just took bumps an potholes an **** rough. My truck is a DD if it wasn't I would of left it the way it was if not lower. But Im in it everyday an it just got old to deal with after so long that low, if it was a weekend warrior I wouldn't have any complaints at 5/7.5

I gotcha, I ran spindles as my primary drop before I added 3" drop springs, I have heard of others getting bump steer from it but I never noticed it on mine when I was using it as a daily, but I can fully understand your situation, if I had to daily mine id probably go back to a 2/4 like I used to have, to not have issues getting into parking lots would be an amazing feeling hahaha

Ordered up a compstar remote start kit from bestbuy with geek squad install. Gonna go see Friday if they'll install my keyless entry as well.
Getting a new power steering pump ordered and installed this weekend as well mines really whinnying in this cold and the tires have killed my factory one.
Got to work tonight on preparing my lower air dam and the piece that goes on the middle of the bumper to be color matched with the truck. It's all scuffed and stuff just need some primer and paint to call it a day. Decided I'll give it a high gloss silver to continue we're I stopped but I'm going to give a black flake as well to really make it shine.

Installed and adjusted my new headlights; personally changed the oil and rotated my tires for first time in years. Man it feels good getting back under the jack stands.

Going to change my fluid today, also my tackle pinion seal, did fluid on front differential when I had engine out. Was quite low on fluid, hence pinion seal. Change out fluid in transfer case to I still need to do.

Put 89 octane in the other day, but with the rash of cold weather, my gas mileage has been crap with running my truck in the morning.

Well be doing my rear diff fluid this weekend too lol

Just did mine. My cover was horrible, so I wire wheeled it, little primer, & some black paint. Do either of you guys or anyone else for that matter know what rear end I have. The tab says 3.9, but when I look in book for the 03 it says 9 1/4, 10 1/2 AA or 11 1/2 AA.

I'm guessing its the 9 1/4?

The 3.9 would mean 3.92 gears.

I got a new set of headlights for the truck today. They're a lot darker than the pictures online showed, but I don't drive the truck very often and rarely at night, so they'll be OK. It may motivate me to wire up my fog lights. I will go get some silicone tomorrow, get them sealed up really well and get them installed.

Got them installed today. Now I just need to order the rest of the stuff to finish up the front bumper so I can get it painted.

I rarely drive at night, so I'm going to actually wire the foglights up sometime this week and put LEDs in all of them to get it as bright as possible. I'm keeping the stockers in case they give me a hard time for inspections.
