Does someone make a coolish looking ladder/cargo rack. My truck is a work/everyday driver and I need to haul long lumber and ladders but don't like how most racks look.

Love my racks as I only use them for my stand up paddle boards or kayak. They drop down behind cab when I am not using them. I think they look pretty cool and I often get compliments! I also have one of those car top carriers that I put on when we travel and the way I have stuff set up it goes on when racks are down so it stays down behind cab out of the wind! Here is a pic with them down on my truck. And a few stock photos off google. They are Thule x porter sport. Had mine since I bought my first truck in 2005 and they have been on every truck so far.

I think they are raptors. I actually want something else so if you are interested we could work something out. I'll pm you some pics so we don't hijack this thread.

I've got a set of racks that I'm considering installing on my Ram. They are aluminum similar to what was posted, but not collapsible. I haven't decided if I want to go with a racks or a bed cover yet. I had them on my last truck, 2001 F150, and I used them a handful of times. I'm not sure I'd like the way they'd look on the Ram. Guess I could throw them on and see. I'll throw them on today and take some pics.

I think Back Bone has a cool looking one. Seems like they are kind of high $$$ if I remember right.

I've been thinking about a ladder rack for hauling my kayaks, but I'd like something that will allow me to keep my bakflip tonneau cover on. I know bakflip makes a ladder rack to go with their cover, but I'd need new rails and the rack looks pretty flimsy.

I'm still undecided. I like the idea of being able to load longer lumber, as I have in the past numerous times with my last truck. But I also like the idea of a covered bed (no cap!).

Sorry, I'm in desperate need of the Bilsteins up front and potentially removing the billboard RAM 1500 from the doors.

Well I have figured out to build the ladder racks I want for my cap and give it alittle sportier look or offroad look compared to standard ladder racks that they sell for caps.

Will be acouple months before I get it done though I have other things to get done first.
