What size light bars are people putting in the plastic piece of the front bumper? I've seen it around town and when I measured it was only about an inch tall, that seems way too small for any curved light bar to fit in there

This is a 42". This is the back side with some brackets you can make. They bolt up to the bumper support.

Do you have tow hooks?
I have seen single row light bars that are thinner. I personally have a 42 but it is a sport bumper.

There's about a 600+ thread on this already with tons of set ups and info. The chrome bumpers dont have a big enough gap to stuff a 2 row bar. A single row will fit. You have aprox 22" between tow hook cuts outs.

No tow hooks allows for a longer light bar.
Yep, 42" curved. Fit like a dream. I had a custom bracket made from aluminum that mounted to the holes that others are referencing but I did not have to do that, there are plenty of makeshift brackets you can find at your local hardware store. Before mounting the light bar in there, I had a push bar that had a 20" mounted to the top of it. The look of the 42".... way better!

Heres what Im doing for mine. My 2016 doesnt have the open bumper all the way accross, just two open spots for tow hooks. I have a front hitch so I dont need the tow hooks, so this will be a good way to utilize that space.

40" on my 2016. It looks more narrow, but the light bars fit no problem.
