So I'm in the process of figuring out my build details on a 2016 ram 1500 Big Horn. Currently I know I'm going with a 6" zone with 5" rear coils and bilsteins. Trying to figure out wheel offset and if I can run 37s. I have the 8 speed 3.21 tranny. If 37s will give me problems I'll go 35" I just don't know that I like the bigger gap between tires and fenders. Right now I'm looking at -25 offset on a 20x10 wheel.

The 6" Zone kit says it will fit 37's. You could run 37's with that wheel and offset, but your mpg and off the line are gonna take a pretty big hit.

With 3.21's I would recommend sticking with 35's. 37's will work but you're definitely going to notice how much slower it is and probably won't like how that feels.

With 20x10 -24 offset wheels you'd end up rubbing with 37x13.5's anyway unless Bilsteins are added to the lift. Even at that you'd probably need to do a bit of plastic trimming.

I forgot to mention bilstiens are going to be added and set at 2.1 setting.

Definitely agree re: the 35's over the 37's.

I test drove a Ram Sport with the 3.21's, 35's & 2.5" levelling kit & it felt really gutless, so I can only imagine how it would be with 37's.

I have a '12 Ram with 3.55 gears, 6" suspesion + 1.5" body lifts and 37's. I definitely noticed a difference in performance so I agree with these guys in staying with 35's. Mainly because of the 3.21 gears.

All these guys saying don't do 37's blah blah blah. I have a 2014 crew cab. 3.21 gears and the 8 speed. I bought a 6" lift from superlift. Put on a 1.5 body lift. Put the 37's on and I drive it every day. The evic shows 14. I don't care what it actually is. It looks awesome. I have a couple of performance mods too, so maybe it's better for me. It still gets up and goes. It still does what it did before the lift and tires. It doesn't quite get to 8th gear like it used to, but it will make it there. It'll still do 100MPH in Mexico. It'll still do a mean one wheel peel. Did I mention it's ******* awesome. I love this truck. I'm glad I skipped the 35's. I almost didnt get 37's because everyone said to not do it. I even bought 3.92 donor axles to swap. Everyone says that'll be **** too. I'll swap those gears in when it warms up, but I'd do it all over again with a new truck. After the divorce

If you're happy with the 3.21, you'll be really happy with the 3.92's.

My truck will easily jump off the line and I have raced a few times here n there....and won lol

I for sure prefer the look of the trucks running a 6" lift with bilsteins at 2.1 and 37s. Fills the fender nicely. 35s just look a bit small to me. Its my understanding that the 3.21 in the 8 speed is about the same as the 3.55 in the 6 speed as far as what it can handle. MY old 3rd gen had 3.92 gears and I ran 35s with no problems. The new 4th gen with 8 speeds are so much more snappy. I really don't care about MPG but I don't want to go tearing things up by running tires that are too large. How big of a difference is there really off the line with 37s? Just curious cause it's not like I'm racing anybody.

Between the 6 spd and 8 spd, both have the same top gear of .67. Where the 8 shines is 1st thru 6th so around town and taking off won't be so bad. Cruising at HWY speeds is another story
