2008 4.7L which is supposedly improved over the previous model years. It moves the truck OK, but you have to get into it if you want to really go.

I drive a 5.7 Hemi police car at work and this thing is a dog compared to that. I'm happy with it though. Plenty of power, I just hate having to flog it when I need to go. Oh well.

I fall into the category of needing more votes. With 3 Rams I have a 12v, 24v and a 5.7....

07 5.7L Hemi. The only possible negative I could say about this engine is the MDS, but a quick tune (hemifever cough cough) fixes that right up. Love the 5.7.

3.7, 5.7 Hemi
My little 3.7 gets me where I need to go so I'm satisfied, don't know about towing the boat to the lake though..

5.7 for now. When I get my single cab I'm going all out. 6.4 swap with a procharger and more coupled to a 6-speed manual and too much to list here. Going for 700hp+ with full interior and extra sound deadening for the audio build.

Show and go.

But nothing/almost nothing will be done to this QC I have. Blegh.

Am I the odd one out because I was hoping to find the 5.9, and not the Hemi, when I was shopping for my truck? I was thinking that go-fast goodies for the Magnum engine might be less expensive than the Hemi. Same goes for general engine parts.
