Well I’ve been looking at this product for a while now. Was pretty skeptical at first. I finally figured screw it, I’ll try it. Now I am by no means any type of detailing expert. I never knew how to properly wash and take care of a vehicle until I started reading this forum. Much thanks for all the good info.

I am not trying to promote this product or sell anyone, just thought I would review it with updates for members to decide. I dont expect this product to be any better than a good sealant or wax. I’ve had great results with a light polish/sealant/wax combo. I mainly wanted to see if it saved me time.

When I recieved this product, my truck was pretty dirty. I handwashed it, claybared, and used a light polish to get rid of a few swirl marks. I then washed with dawn soap to remove the sealant. I applied three light coats to everything but the tires about 24 hours apart. The first thing I noticed is how shiny and smooth it makes the paint. Not necessarily any better than wax, but it does seem to make the paint more reflective, especially on black. It also seems to resist fingerprints better than before. I’ve only had the product on for one week, but I recently took a 300 mile round trip camping. I came back with a pretty dirty truck. No mud, but I did have a lot of dust, bugs, etc. So far I’m pretty happy with it, I simply did a quick wash using only water and a microfiber. The bugs wiped off easily. I probably spent about 45 minutes total. Most of that was spent drying the truck. Topcoat claims this product can last about 3 months. Time will tell. Heres a few pics after washing today.

Looks good, but 3 months for a sealant isn't very long... There are other products that will last longer and require less work to apply.

No--it applies just like wax. Surface preparation is alway the key.

You just spray on, wipe off, then lightly buff it. I have to say, i’ve never used anything that made black this shiny/reflective.

Update

So far im pretty impressed with the product. It’s been on for 1 month now. The only thing i’ve done to the truck is spray it off with water at the car wash about once a week. I can get bugs off with just water, no rubbing, etc. I then follow up with a no spot rinse. No drying, etc. No more product applied since my initial first 3 coats. Going to see if truck stays this shiny/ easy to clean for 3 months like they advertise. Time will tell.

I too don't know much about detailing. I recently gave it a shot myself and have been happy with the shine and gloss. I haven't had enough time to really test out the performance of it but it seems be keeping a lot of the crap off. Granted, I have a wash club membership and can roll right through a good car wash whenever I want. But I've been lookin for something to really keep the shine going and keep bugs off. I drive through a bug infested area every day and accumulate a lot of buildup.

Finally handwashed it. Its been 2 months since first applying f11. I went ahead and applied a light coat with the truck being clean. So far i’m impressed. I dont think this is much better than a sealant/wax combo, but its WAY less labor/time intense.

Got the two ounce sample. Was enough to do my hood, driver front fender, and both driver side doors. Spent the $60 for the 16 ounce bottle. When I get the truck finished it will last long enough for me to find something less expensive. If not, anoth $60 down the drain.... But my truck will look amazing!!!

I find that just spraying a little on a buffer pad then wiping with a microfiber uses a lot less.

I have seen about a 50/50 mix of reviews. Not much middle ground but a love hate type thing.
