Aside from Dennis Dillon and Dave Smith, what are other dealerships that have great low prices with no haggling.

I live in NM so surrounding states would be easier to deal in. Thanks in advance.

I thought I heard about a high volume dealer in smallish town Nebraska but can't recall the name or if there is one.

Reality is that you are just under a 1000 miles from DD. That is a long one day drive home to Albuquerque but easily doable and a pretty drive at that.

Hey bud, you're about 6 1/2 hours away (420 miles) from the dealer I financed my 1500 Big Horn.

Here it is, I liked every second at this dealership, it was no pressure at all. I walked in, knew what I wanted, and BOOM 2 hours later I had my truck! Great reviews also! They have a HUUUUUUGGGGGGEEEEE selection also!

To me the big benefit of a place like Dennis Dillon is with a few clicks of your mouse you know what you "can" get a truck for. That's super valuable information to have when you go to your local dealer.

If your local dealer won't match, you can decide just how far you're willing to drive to save the money. I'm in Oregon and fairly close so I'd very likely go that route if/when I go for a new truck. Another great benefit of Dillon is they have a HUGE inventory and there's a good chance the truck you want (or something extremely close) is sitting on their lot.

Lastly, I'm an aging guy with a house full of kids. Did somebody say road trip? Oh, hell yeah! I'm in!! There have got to be a few Indian casinos on the way :favorites13:

Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM Dealer Kernersville, NC | serving Greensboro, Winston-Salem, Durham, Charlotte, Raleigh NC | New & Used Cars, Service, Parts It's a ways away, but they have great prices and inventory. Actual pics and prices on every truck online. These guys are high volume pros. Excellent experience. They will deliver for free within 300 mi or pay up to $500 toward a plane ticket for you to fly there and drive your new truck back. If nothing else, use their website to compare prices.

Thanks guys.

Dennis Dillon was my 1st choice however since I didn't have $1000 to deposit on the truck I wanted it got sold to someone else. The rest of the Ram 2500s they have listed either aren't what I want or are in transit. I already planned the trip and paid for accomodations so I guess I'm making a drive.

I have changed the plan though to just go to Salt Lake City. One of the dealerships has the truck I want and I hope they'll price it right. If not I'll just mosey up to Dennis Dillon or other Salt Lake City dealerships.

My biggest complaint about Dennis Dillon is that the sales people are terrible communicators and it seems like after the truck I wanted got sold, the dealer I was working with forgot me completely.

Dave Smith has been trying hard to get me up there but that's basically another day of travel for me that I just don't have time for.

Hopefully Salt Lake City has what I need.

Curious why you are so desperate to get a new truck NOW. I ask because it seems like most people don't have to get the truck "right now" but are merely impatient. Why not order a truck and get exactly what you want?

I could have waited for about 6 more months, but that is about it. I have a 4 child due in March and I need a truck with the bench seat up front. I also needed to upgrade to be able to tow my 30 ft travel trailer for a planned trip in March.

I understand that is plenty of time to order one, but I've learned the dealerships here in my area don't always give the best deals and I hate the back and forth of haggling. Starting pretty soon, the dealerships I was looking into will be getting home it with winter weather and I felt like I had a small window to purchase.

Lastly, I'm impatient. LOL

Here's the truck I ended up buying from Layton Hills Ram dealership in Layton, UT.b6b99cd867edf96f4ee85bb0d2c33ba0.jpg
