I just got a letter regarding an odd thing that the rams do. Its only some and I myself have experienced it. For example if you turn your right blinker on, the truck would blink on the right side but sometimes for a split second would blink on the left side and then continue back and for for a few seconds.

I just got a letter in the mail regarding it, and it says a 10 year 150,000 mile warranty is in place to get it fixed. If anyone wants me to upload this letter and your under 150,000 miles on your 3rd gen ram you can get it fixed.

I haven't had that happen to me. Is it specific to your year?

Is it a recall letter, or one of those warranty companies?

This is not one of those warranty companies, this is from dodge themselves.

It has the letter stating everything, and an attached page for me to fill out and bring in to the dealership.

I will most certainly scan in my copy, gota find it first

Im really interested what the fix is going to be, if its a simple fix Im going to see if I can just pick up the part and do it myself.

I had the recall done on my truck 2 years ago...

The NHSTA or whatever you guys call them did an investigation on the issue and closed it as 'dealers to replace part if a user complains'.. I was in the middle of a vacation including a 5500km round trip down to Portland and back when it decided to act up on the I5 in rush hour while towing my travel trailer.

They must have had enough people complain about it to do the right thing and do a full out recall.. I'm happy with that as this could be a very bad thing in the wrong situation.

At first I thought my truck was acting up because I had just installed some custom electronics and ****.

I got the same thing the other day. It's only for the '06 1500s and 2500s. It's not really a recall, it just states that your factory warranty for the switch has been extended to 10yrs or 150k mi, whichever comes first. Funny thing is my '06 has never acted up. But, my '02 did it multiple times and my moms '06 Durango did it a few times too.
