Sorry for like the flood of posts here first of all, but this is the only thing I can think of as I don't know very many people that'd be able to help on a vehicle like this.
But my question is the owner of the vehicle I'm about to purchase said the Pitman steering arm? needs replaced, but what he was showing me looks nothing like what the part he told me actually is, any idea what he is trying to say needs replaced?
I attached three pictures, two of which are the part he said needed replacing, it's the longer rod looking piece, then the third is a picture of what the part he thinks needs replaced actually is. They don't look anything alike.

your welcome. i am pretty good at looking up parts on rockauto. you just need to learn where to look for what and you usually find what you need. i have spent a couple years learning my way around rockauto. just got to what out for the shipping.if you can get all the parts shipped from 1 location it is usually a lot cheaper

Alrighty, thanks a bunch again though. I'll definitely use that more often, for any vehicle I get, including the other project cars I have too haha

Using RockAuto is an art, I'm always dead heading and I've been "trying" to use them for years. LMC is worthless to me. I can't find anything there. Also seems like a lot of names for things have changed. That piece I call a drag link if it is the one going from the steering box and knuckle.
