I took mine to a shop. LOL

I did my last one though. basic tools needed (some bigass wrenches) and a spring compressor.

Either install, solid axle or independent suspension, does not require any special tools, just basic shop tools. A spring compressor can be helpful to eliminate some of the dis-assembly steps, but not required.
