So can i still use my i1000 that i had for my chevy ? If so can i just buy the PCM or is it only a bundle deal ?

the only i1000 that works on '11+ dodge is the DCX model. The regular i1000 won't work. in your case, you'll need the bundle

I have a 2015 Sport CC 2wd, if I have AR Headers with hi-flow cats, Magnaflow exhaust and 180 thermostat. What would the needed set up cost delivered to 92584 (CA). I would want whatever tune is best (87, 89 or a 91 tune). In california getting 91 at the pump is the highest easily found. A few places sell Street Blaze 100 but at $7 a gallon, ouch.

By the way, your links in the original first link are no longer working.

@FlynDutchman the trinity link was working but the intune link had changed but I corrected it so thanks for letting me know. $999 for the intune/ecu or $1099 for the trinity/ecu. Once I sent you the package our tunes would get on there via email and an 89 octane tune and 91 octane tune would be good for yours

If you have the mod info for a 16 truck and the vin, can you pre load your custom tune into the ECU before delivery so we don't have to go through the install and computer process when we get the tuner and ECU.

Jay, you would still need to send your stock tune file to Sean. I can help you out again if you need a hand.

For me the price with shipping and exchange rate would be closer to 1400.00, on top of that I am the least mechanical guy I know. The funny thing is I purchased the Trinity for my 14 Sport rcsb and never used it other than to check my 0-60 time (averaged 6.21). I am guessing I spent somewhere in the range of 600.00+++ and now that the 14 is gone and have the 15 R/T the Trinity makes for a great paper weight. Until the codes etc are unlocked I am sitting on my hands.

All you need is an unlocked ecu for a 15-16. I found mine used for 300$ sent it to Diablo to rewrite for 100$. I used my old trinity and bam, Sean hooked me up with some tuning!! I would keep an eye on the classifieds for an unlocked ecu.

Hemifever,

I just purchased a used unlocked t-1000 and DS PCM for 2015 Ram 1500.

I will have to send the PCM back to DS first, however I am in them Market for a custom tune.

What is the process for this? Cost? Can I purchase a custom tune from you prior to setting up on my truck? or will you need to see my stock data?

Also, what is the "REAL WORLD" results you are seeing on the 15s- lifted 4 inch with 35s, 3.21 gears?

once you have the package back and diablo tune installed you can purchase my $160 tune only option off my website. I'll get your stock file at that point. Premium fuel tuning with stock tires will get you about 30 hp on this model.

Do you have anything for more mileage, along with the added HP/TQ?
How easy is it to switch between desired tunes?
Do you have any recommend modifications you normally like to see done as well to maximize your end result?

I actually own and tune my personal GM vehicles with HP Tuners PRO, but it seems the same unlocking procedures need to be done there as well, or a new ECU as you've done. It just doesn't seem worth the trouble IMO for me to do it with zero Dodge tuning experience. Besides, your option is cheaper once you figure in the credits cost.

looks like you might have a 2017. Diablo says support for 2017 is "right around the corner" but I don't have an ETA. You'll see 1 to 2 mpg gains with this due to the added low/mid rpm torque output. Switching tunes is done with key on/off sequences and takes about 2 to 3 minutes after the initial tune is loaded on there.

The tuning works great on a stock truck if you want to keep it that way. But this model will respond to cai, exhaust, and throttle body which will compliment tuning.
