Can't complain. Truck pulled it strong. Mini was 8500 pounds 1200 pound trailer. Truck sitting pretty level.

That is surprisingly well balanced. We had more squat than that with our 6800# trailer, but I don't know how the tongue loads would compare.

Do you have bags or anything back there? I am not trying to be devils advocate but are you sure that mini excavator weighs that much? I was thinking 5 or 6 K at most.

I have towed about the same with my 3rd gen. I also had 2 extra shovels, and a bedfull of concrete sacks. Come to find out 3 days later that the clutch was toast when I hauled it...
