Went on our 1st trip this weekend with our Ram 2500 5.7. Wish I would have made the decision to purchase a 2500 years ago. I hardly felt our trailer(5500lb TT) and the ride was so smooth. If you are on the fence trying to decide if you need/want a 2500 for towing, pull the trigger, thank me later... I came from a Tundra and the difference is night and day

I came from a Tundra as well. I have the 6.4L and 4.10s, so my towing is pretty much the same as the Tundra power wise, except I miss those 4.30s!! But stability with my Ram 2500 is unreal compared to the Tundra. I had air bags on it and my TT still squatted the Tundra several inches. It squats my Ram just to level, so maybe 1.5" without hooking up the WD hitch. But yeah, it's much more confidence inspiring towing a 34' 8000lb trailer with a heavy duty truck.
