Hey guys looking for a little advice. I have a 2013 ccsb with 6 speed and its lifted on 35" tires. I tow my trailer which is 6700 dry and it tows pretty good but I'm looking to get a little more power. I don't want to do a tuner because of my warranty so what other options do I really have? Right now I average about 8 to 9 mpg while going 60 mph and my oil temps average about 230 full synthetic.

Your not going to gain much anywhere else a tuner and muffler won't do much. If you can afford it I w mould say gears but on a zf front axle on 4wd that's expensive.

Your warranty wont go anywhere. Just remove the tune and follow other safety steps (you should google this).

Tuner would be the best gain for the money.

You can just swap out the gears in the rear for a fair price.. Just would lose 4wd (unless its an emergency and a slippery surface, only for a short distance).

IMO

I was under the impression that a 2013 has the front ring gear welded in and a regear wouldn't be possible?

Can't the dealer tell if the truck has been tuned? I read that even if I remove it they will be able to tell

What exactly is it that they "see"?

IMO

That the truck has been "reflashed"? I have no idea I'm just going off of what I have read but everyone casts mixed opinions and I don't know anybody in the auto industry that I could ask

I had a tuner and took it to the dealer and they couldn't tell, well they didn't say nothing about it.

Its my understanding the dealer sees the number of times the computer has been accessed. and I believe they can see when the last access was. That's what I was told when I asked the Pontiac tech bluntly when I took my G8 in for a computer flash related recall. It was out of warrantee and Pontiac didn't exist anymore so I didn't care if he knew or not.

incidentally, getting my car smogged, the guy didn't pick up on the tune and the MDS inactivation either. I passed easily. I had to take my vararam off but left my Corsa catbacks on. reputable shop too.

It's my understanding that any time you take your vehicle in for service the first thing they do is hook it up to their computer. It'll reference the ECU output, times flashed, dates flashed and version against what's in their database for that vehicle. So if you've flashed your ECU a number times after the last time it was in for service Mopar's records are not going to match what's coming out of your ECU. It's also my understanding that they allow for a "margin of error". And depending on the work being performed, ie: suspension issues vs blown motor, they tend to overlook things.

YMMV from dealer to dealer.
