Has anyone had their airlift 1000 bags squeak? Mine are and there driving me crazy. I tried using silicone spray on them but that didn't work. Any ideas?

HAHAHA^
If Airlift says talc, use talc. Not sure what would happen if you're driving around in snow/slush though; a paste that won't stop a squeak?

Its a dry lubricant that resist dust and oils good for high pressure and temp applications

Well tried the dry lubricant and it didn't work. I guess I'll try the talc. Is this talcum powder? Does anyone recommend any brand?

Is this squeak common? I just installed the 5000 Ultimate. If it's common, when should I expect it to start?

According to Cody at Airlift he's never heard of this. Other people on here have the same problem though. He told me to inflate the bags to 35psi and let them settle against the springs. I did that and it didn't do anything. He then told me to sand the paint off the inside of the springs so the spring surface is rougher. (Is he serious) Does he really expect me to sand the paint off springs on a truck that's 6 months old? What kind of tech support is that?

If you read the reviews for airlift 1000 on Amazon it seems the squeaking is very common.

The sound is coming from this area while underneath the truck and someone pushing down on it but it's impossible to be 100% without removing the bags. The noise started a few days after installing them. The only way to remove the bags without damaging them would be to remove the springs. There is no way i'm going to get them out through the coils.

I have 28K on mine and have never heard this. It must be frustrating. Glad I don't have it.

It literally is driving me crazy. It squeaks all the time and makes my truck sound like it's 20 years old. I rarely load a lot of weight in my truck so if I can't find a solution I may just cut the bags up in order to pull them through the springs.

I know it's against Airlift recommendations, but have you tried airing them down to (as close to) 0psi and driving around the block, to see of they really are the culprit?
