I purchased a set of airlift bags for my 15 2500. I did not opt for the compressor. I will only bu using our fifth wheel a few weeks a year and didn't think it was worth the added expense. Just wondering where everyone bits the air valve. I was thinking near the license plate, but wanted some other opinions

my firestones came with a bracket that straps to the stock tow hitch receiver, but i went with either side of the plate.be aware there's a bracket so the holes may have to be off set on one side.

I hid mine just under the bedrail:

On my mega cab I put them on either side of the plate. On my 2500 I put them just under the tailgate. Can't see them unless you're looking for them. I'll try to get a pic tomorrow.

I installed my airlift system 6 months ago. I've got the onboard air with the wireless controller. I have not installed the manual air valves yet as I've been trying to decide the best place to locate them. I was thinking of next to the license plate, but with my truck camper on, access to that area is not so easy. That would go for the under the bed rail too. I also thought about putting them behind the fuel door, next to the fill tube, but it would be a tight fit to get the air chuck in there I think. Especially with the DEF fill port. I think I'm going to put them in the driver's side rear wheel well.

My installer put them behind the driver's side tire where the fender curves downward. You'd probably never notice them unless you were looking for them. Given the choice I'd probably have put them on the other side just so My ass isn't hanging out in traffic when I'm airing up but it's rarely an issue.

I mounted mine onto the hitch on my last truck. Right above where the chains go. Worked well and looked good.
