I just bought a 2013 RCSB last week and the hitch was deleted when it was initially ordered. I'd like to get a hitch on it and have found one locally, just wondering if this is a straight bolt on situation or if it will require drilling. It looks like the bumper will have to come off.

Anyone have experience installing a factory hitch on a 1500?

Bumper will have to come off most likely to pull the factory one off and put the new one on. And should be direct bolt on if it's all oem parts.

I put a class IV on my 13 express. Comes with wires to run the bolts. Bumper does not need to come off. Took me 30 minutes.

He's talking about pulling the factory non hitch bar out and replacing it with a factory hitch bar.

Personally I would use a Curt 1333 or similar like you installed they are cheep and easy.
