May or may not have some towing coming up so I figure its time to invest in a drop hitch. So as a reminder I have a 3in lift and 37s. Thanks for any help!

This is how I figured it

New tire size 36.8
OEM tire size 31.6
Lift 3

36.8-31.6+3=8.2 drip hitch needed for oem level?

Wouldnt you divide the tire difference by 2 cause that's how much rise you got from them??

Get one of those big adjustable ones. B&M I think makes one up to a 12' drop.

For reference I use a 4" drop hitch and my rear end is at stock height, but hauled a bil-jax boom lift the other day and required a 1" rise above my bumper to haul safely. It really depends on what type of trailer you are hauling.

That's a 5" difference between 2 trailers

I would go with an adjustable one if you can
My gf trucks uses a 4" drop for her horse trailer and utility trailer but I use a pintle/ball combo on an adjustable plate for the utility trailer and for mixers, splitters etc (most useful style IMO)
