With the help of my buddy in one of the pics and the use and help of my father's awesome tools we got her done! Riding nice now. I also upgraded the trailer tires to load range E.

What drop shank did you use? I need a new shank going from a 1/2 ton to 1 ton and I'm trying to decide what I need. we have a Jayco 28BHBE trailer.

I used a 9" drop shank for my 2015 2500 and a 2015 Jayco 29QBS.

Lol yeah that torque wrench is a nice one. Part of my father's heavy equipment arsenal of tools that my brother and I will inherit someday soon if my dad doesn't sell them off when he retires in the next couple years.

I used the curt c17123 shank. Honestly I think I could have used the standard shank that comes with the standard kit. I ordered the kit without the shank and ordered the curt shank in place just to be sure I had enough drop. My trailer sits high though and I did not need hardly any drop. I think I am only on the second set of holes from top. So now I have a plow hanging under truck. Lol

I used the EQ90-02-4800 on mine. I hated the 2" with adapter rattling around. The 4" drop is perfect with my 2500 and 287BHBE

NewBlackDak, Thanks! That's exactly what I needed. Are you in the middle of the travel or at the bottom of the drop? Just curious if you know. I didn't know if I needed the EQ9002-4900...

It's at the bottom, but I really need to move it up. The trailer rides slightly nose down. It tows fine, so I haven't bothered to change it
