With a WD hitch you'll be LAUGHING.
I got talked in to a 32' beast (35' overall) which is a near white-knuckle experience, and will be tiring to tow. You're a smart man.

Curious -- what did you get? I have a 24' Aerolite (5,700lbs.) and I was considering on getting a new trailer that is 36' 5" with a dry weight of 7,500lbs. Was it the length that made it tough to tow? I can barely tell my Aerolite is there so I didn't think a few thousand more pounds would be a big deal.

I'm not sure what your truck has on it but here are my specs:

2013 Ram 1500 Laramie
3.92 Gears
Electronic Stabilizer
WD Hitch
Class IV Hitch
Airbags

Looking forward to your thoughts!

Congrats on the new Hybrid!
I love Jayco. We bought a new Hybrid Jayco 17Z in Jan 2010 and love it. I think the list sticker price was $18,500 or so and we got it for $12,990. I use an Equalizer brand Weight distribution hitch and love that too. So simple and built in sway control!

We had three different popups over 20 years and the Hybrid is so much nicer for u.

Best of luck with it!!!
