I had a 6" drop hitch that was just about perfect for my boat but since I gained an inch from my new tires and will soon gain 1.5" additional rear lift, I needed a new hitch. I wanted an adjustable hitch but didn't like the billet style and didn't want the cheap looking ones with the removable pins. I also wasn't willing to spend a fortune on one. I was able to find this one on Amazon for a little over $100. It doesn't come with the ball, which is great for me since I already have my Reese interchangeable balls. It appears to be great quality and is rated for up to 10k lbs.

Yes, it can be flipped for an 8" rise. They also make 6" and 12" versions and have a few different options.

I always worry about the impact one of those has if you have a heavy trailer. The hitch on the truck isn't really designed to take the kind of torque those create under heavy braking, or if you started to fishtail your trailer. Might keep that in mind before hauling the 10k load the stinger is rated for lol.

I'm not pulling anywhere near 10k lbs anyways, and my ball is only rated for 8k lbs...

I was thinking the same thing. That's a hell of a moment arm!

I need one because when I lower my truck ill have to raise the mount. On wight thing I've never seen the mount bent but I've seen balls bent. The big thing around here is the receiver on the truck bent down or sideways.

Nice hitch, it don't look like that it's made for 10k but I guess that look are deceiving.

I had my doubts as well, but this thing is STOUT! I bet it weighs 25 lbs! The welds look really good too.

Looks good, How does that one adjust ?????

Did you consider a raised hitch ball and keeping the mount one that you had. Only reason I didn't go that route is I wanted the quietride ball mount, as the clanking around inside the reciever drives me nuts.

I had to use a 2" rise on my last truck (not dodge) to have my boat trailer level when towing it, and with the new dodge, I need a 2" drop. Can't flip mine over as I welded the nut to the shank to prevent theft.

Raised ball wouldn't help, I needed more drop, not less.
