So, I own a transport company and we have a small fleet of duallys. I have a buddy wants his new cyclone toyhauler towed about 180 miles since his new truck isn't yet in.

My duallys areally all out on the road this week so the only truck I have available is my new 2500.

Dry weight is only one 15.5k so I'm good there. However pin weight is 3,525 lbs and my payload is 2,300. My hitch is a curt 24k so I'm not worried about the hitch, just the springs...... thoughts?

That's more than half over the weight. If it was just a couple hundred pounds I'd consider it, but in this case the answer would be a quick no. Especially with my new truck.

Payload on that truck is artificially low but 3500# (plus some type of hitch, of course) in the bed is a lot for those coil springs. If you can stay within the RAWR and had some airbags or Timbrens I'd say go for it. If nothing to help out the rear I'd probably pass.

No your way short on payload. I'd not even attempt that with mine and i have over 3100 lbs of payload. It's not worth risking damage to your truck

I'm a transporter also. If you want to move it you will do exactly like mto said. What made you get a 2500 instead of a 3500 fees?
