Receiver hitch

So I was thinking my truck has hook ups for towing but no hitch? I have had to pull a trailer to help people move or pull people in the past. I don't have a trailer or anything I tow on a regular basis. But what if.. Should I just buy a 120 hitch from u haul? Will it demeanor the truck since its a "sports" truck? So confused. If I got a hitch I wouldn't be able to get a roll pan. plus I'll be lowering the truck soon too. So I guess the question is, get a hitch or a roll pan?

Guess it depends if you want to be able to tow man, does anyone make the hidden hitch and covers for your truck?

Roll pan! If something needs to be pulled find a buddy with a lifted RAM!

They have hidden hitches that are for roll pans. The license plate flips up and you insert the receiver in. That is my vote.

I had that same debocle when I bought my truck. I hated that the hitch that you bought (along with most aftermarket class III's) had a lower rating than the damned truck! Who wants a 6k limit on a truck rated for 9500?! Thus, I got the Curt Class IV badboy, Love it!

However, it sounds like I might use my hitch a bit more often... though it's still a ******.

If I weld it in it should be able to handle more than 6k. I rarely tow so it's not a big deal for me. Just need something.

get a big receiver for the hitch, trust me no one will ever tailgate you again. whenever i put mine on no one tailgates me. well worth the money IMO

that hitch looks good on your truck even though its a sport truck. its the best insurance you can have for another car rear ending you. i always have my hitch on whether im towing or not. i plasti-dipped the ball to lol

I need one of those hooks, but my 6" drop does a good job of being obtrusive.

Yea it's definitely insurance. Cars don't even come close or tailgate! I had it on my lifted diesel but I think I like it on the ram too.

i need to invest in a drop hitch soon. the ass end of my truck sits up pretty high for the one i have now
