My 2014 CC doesn't have a receiver hitch.
It has a class IV receiver hitch and spray in bedliner listed on the exterior equipment on the window sticker, and has both 4 and 7 pin plugs wired on the rear bumper.

Under the optional equipment packages 25C, which gave the truck 20 inch wheels and painted bumpers, etc, the Class IV hitch and bedliner are deleted.

Does anyone know what hitch hardware I need to buy to add back the Class IV hitch to this truck?

It looks like there is a knockout on the bumper for a bumper hitch along with support hardware under the bumper.

When you order the hitch, it comes with the necessary hardware needed. It actually mounts to the large round tube right behind the bumper, and the bumper itself. There are 2 bolts that you snake through the round tube with a wire, and 1 large bolt which goes where a normal ball would on your bumper. Hope this helps. Merry Christmas!!!

I saw hitches like that online from Curt, I think, but they were only spec'd as Class III. If I get it from Mopar you think it will be the Class IV the window sticker referred to?

Oh, thanks for replying and Merry Christmas!!

Mopar states it has a 12,000 lb. towing capacity and a 1,200 lb. tongue capacity. That has more capacity than your truck. Having said that, mine is bent slightly to the right, and my travel trailer only weighed 6,000 lbs loaded. It was very noticeable when the hitch was installed. I have always been one to buy factory parts and accessories however I will buy one of the other brands when I replace my hitch. They all bolt up the same from what I have saw.

Wow.
On closer inspection I see that the Curt hitch says it is Class III/Class IV depending on if load leveling is installed.
Whatever that means.
I'm guessing that has something to do with how the Tube that the hitch bolts to is connected to the frame. I'm also guessing that if RAM was calling it a IV it will have what it needs to be a IV other than the actual hitch.
I'll probably just grab the Curt reciever. Its like $90 shipped.

That'll very likely tow anything you'll ever need.

I went with the traditional frame mount Class IV (next listing on that link above).
When I went to install it, I realized from the factory it's all there, other than the little drop down piece.

Oh well.

Curt Manufacturing 14374 Class IV Receiver : Amazon.com : Automotive

That's the full class IV Curt hitch from Amazon for $148 that WhiteExpress is talking about.
Just installed one on my Sport.

The "load leveling" they are referring to is most likely a weight-distributing hitch. It does exactly what the name describes - and stops excess sag in the rear of the truck.

You done good. E-Trailer is awesome! I ordered my fifth wheel hitch and custom mounting kit from them. There was a problem with the mounting kit from the manufacturer. E-Trailer went above and beyond to get the problem straightened out. Kudos to them. They are a great bunch! Your hitch should arrive very quickly.

They already emailed me and told me it was in stock and would ship within 24-48 hours. Said they will send tracking info as soon as it does. Can't ask for more than that! Thanks for everyone's input.

Just installed one on my Sport.

That's a stout looking hitch. I'm not sure if it is really any stronger than the support that is under my truck already from RAM. The factory hitch support looks to be welded like an extension of the frame and the hitch part just bolts to it - as opposed to the curt IV that bolts to the frame. I'm guessing that your Sport didn't have the hitch at all from RAM?

BTW - Still can't figure out why they bothered deleting the hitch from my truck. I guess they wanted it to look sporty? LOL

Completely agree. I have had nothing but good experiences with e-trailer.
Called my service rep's manager to say what an awesome job she did.
