Towing Camper/ Power Jack question

Looking at getting a power tongue jack and want to know if I plug in my camper plug to my truck does that give me 12v to work the jack? I guess its hard wired to the battery but was wondering if it was dead would the plug give it enough power to work. thanks

When coupled together your truck should recharge your camper batteries, so I am guessing Yes it should power the jack also.

The truck battery should have no trouble powering your jack. Also, power jacks also have a manual crank as a backup... Just in case
