What gears do I have?

Just wondering what rear end gears I have. 2011 QC sport fully loaded. Doesn't say on the window sticker that came on the truck when bought new.

My dealership ran my VIN for me and told me. 3.55 is what I have.

I bet 3.55's, thats the norm. Should have a sticker on the axle tube.

For giggles I ran my vin on my 14 express and the site worked good. 3.55 in mine.

Jack up your truck. Rotate rear tire 1 time around & count how many times the driveshaft spins. 3.5 times 3:55, just over 4 times 4:10

If it is an open rear diff, then only jack up 1 side, otherwise, you will get 1/2 of the number.

I just got my VIN report back on my wife's brand new 2014 1500 Laramie. It has DMCS 3.21 Rear Axle Ratio.

If its a '14 with 8 speed, most generally they are 3.21's, '13's and older, 3.55's and some with 3.92's.

What gears do I have?
