That looks fairly inline with what I get. That tranny temp is getting up there. I don't think I've seen mine over 190. But I also have a different truck - 2500, 6.4 Hemi - towing 11K 5th wheel. I'm not sure what is considered "normal" for your truck. The other 3 are just what I usually run.

On my 2500 6.4, in the summer I've had oil and coolant Temps get up into those ranges, but never the trans. Highest trans temp I've seen, even towing was in the 170s.

North of 200 for trans i start getting nervous

latest trip to Kentucky, 2 people, 2 bags, and not towing.. coolant - 203, oil temp - 212, transmission temperature - 245 (yep, 245F). oil pressure - 52 all at 71 ambient temperature and at 75 mph on flat. I'm 23 degrees from transmission overheat (268) and going into limp mode. I'm sure Murphy's law waiting till its midnight, with my granddaughter and wife on back country road in the low country of South Carolina before it decides to flameout...

Of course the dealer can't duplicate it because they will drive to the next exit, not 20 miles like I ask them to try.

The 8 speeds run warmer by design "Thermal Fluid Management" with greater fluctuation than the 6 speed HD trans which is a totally different animal.

My 8speed runs normally in the low 180s but can fluctuate from 170-190 in the course of a drive.

My 6spd HD always runs at 168. One time I saw 170 towing heavy in the Texas summer.

In summary, your temps are normal for your transmission.

I don't recall what is when not towing, but when towing, even in mid-summer, coolant is around 200-210, trans is around 200, oil has peaked up in 250 range a few times.
